My name is Rachel Harvey and I am a qualified personal trainer and am thrilled to now be working at FG Personal Training. Exercise plays a very important role in my life; apart from being in the gym, I particularly enjoy horse riding and running, taking part in various 10k runs to raise money for charity. Outside of the fitness world, I’m working towards gaining my Private Pilot’s License….. I like to keep myself busy!

How I Work

I know from personal experience that making positive changes in our lives can be tough. Sometimes, all that is needed is that extra push and encouragement that a personal trainer can offer. Believe me, I know all the excuses…… I probably came up with some of them! But I also know that once you’ve made that initial move to improve your fitness, you will not only reap the incredible physical benefits but also benefit from improved mood that comes with exercise.

I pride myself on having a friendly, supportive and encouraging manner when working with my clients. A good working relationship between trainer and client is so important. After all, exercise is much easier if you can make it fun. I’m also committed to further developing my knowledge of the fitness industry to enable my clients to benefit from the most up to date training available whether this be for the beginner or the more advanced athlete.

Level 2 Fitness Instructing (Active IQ)

Level 2 Mental Health Awareness (Oxbridge – NCFE CACHE)

Level 2 Safeguarding in Sport (Educate)

Full DBS (Enhanced)

First Aid Qualified

A Level Biology

2 years horse riding coaching experience
